• Ceylon OP (Orange Pekoe) Black Tea (~75%) — sourced from the lush highlands of Sri Lanka, Ceylon OP is one of the world's most prized black teas; bright, malty, and full-bodied with a clean, brisk character that forms the perfect backbone for a classic Earl Grey. The "Orange Pekoe" grade indicates whole, unbroken leaves — a mark of quality that delivers a superior cup.
• Bergamot Essential Oil (~20%) — the soul of every Earl Grey; cold-pressed from the rind of the bergamot orange — a fragrant citrus fruit grown primarily in Calabria, Italy — this pure essential oil delivers the signature floral, citrusy aroma and flavor that makes Earl Grey instantly recognizable. We use essential oil, not artificial flavoring, for an authentic, aromatic experience.

The Earl Grey Story

Named after Charles Grey, the 2nd Earl Grey and British Prime Minister in the 1830s, Earl Grey tea has been a staple of British tea culture for nearly two centuries. The original blend was said to be a diplomatic gift — a Chinese tea scented with bergamot oil to offset the lime in the water at Howick Hall, the Earl's estate. Today, it remains one of the most recognized and beloved teas in the world, enjoyed from London drawing rooms to New York coffee shops.

Our Earl Grey stays true to that heritage — Ceylon black tea, pure bergamot essential oil, and blue cornflowers — nothing more, nothing less.

How to Brew

• Classic Hot: 2.5g (approx. 1 heaping teaspoon) per 12oz of water at 195°F — steep 5–10 minutes for a bold, aromatic cup
• London Fog Latte: Brew double-strength, add steamed oat milk or whole milk, a splash of vanilla syrup, and a drizzle of honey — the ultimate cozy Earl Grey experience
